The truth about eye cream

We’ve spent most of our lives working with faces, hair and makeup, and there’s one thing we’ve learned along the way: the eye area deserves a little extra attention.

The skin around your eyes is thinner and more delicate than the skin on the rest of your face. It’s also one of the first places where signs of tiredness, dehydration and ageing can become noticeable.

But do you actually need an eye cream? And does it really make a difference?

Let’s clear up a few things.

Myth: You only need eye cream when you have fine lines

Not quite.

Eye cream isn’t only about wrinkles. The eye area can also become dry, puffy, tired-looking or uneven in tone, which is why we like to think of eye cream as a little extra care rather than an anti-ageing emergency.

Starting early is less about trying to stop time and more about keeping the delicate skin around your eyes moisturised, comfortable and looking its best.

Myth: Eye cream is just an expensive moisturiser

Well… it is a moisturiser. But that doesn’t mean it’s pointless.

The skin around the eyes has different needs, and a good eye cream is formulated with this delicate area in mind. Our Eye Cream has an ultra-thin, fast-absorbing texture that moisturises while helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and counteract puffy, tired-looking skin.

Tired eyes are not always about sleep

You only need a small amount for the eye area. Apply gently around the eyes morning and night, and give the product a moment to absorb.

Using more doesn’t necessarily mean better results. It can simply mean more product sitting where you don’t need it.

So, do you actually need an eye cream?
