After the workout
Body and hair care for an active life
We believe beauty is something you live, not something you put on. Movement is part of that. A morning run, a yoga class, an evening at the gym, a long swim. An active life is one of the most natural ways to feel strong, clear and present in your own body.
And like every good habit, it deserves a ritual. Your body and hair carry the work of every session: the sweat, the friction, the shower afterwards. With a little care, they come out of it as well as you do.

What a workout asks of your body and hair
Exercise brings warmth, circulation and a natural glow. It also asks something in return.
- Sweat and friction. Tight training clothes and sweat trapped against the skin can clog pores on the back, chest and shoulders.
- Frequent showers. Hot water and harsh gym soaps wash away the skin's own oils, leaving it dry and tight.
- Rougher skin. Dryness and friction can make small bumps on the arms and legs more noticeable.
- Hair. Sweat at the roots, frequent washing and tight ponytails can leave hair flat, dry or more prone to breakage.
Small bumps, smoothly handled
Many people know them well: small, rough bumps on the upper arms, thighs or buttocks that feel like goosebumps that never quite fade. This is keratosis pilaris, and it is both very common and completely harmless. It happens when keratin, a natural protein in the skin, builds up around the hair follicles.
An active life doesn't cause it. But long hot showers, friction from training clothes and dry winter air can make the bumps feel rougher and look more visible. The answer is gentle and steady: lift away dead skin cells, then keep the skin well moisturised. Scrubbing hard tends to irritate rather than smooth.
Your body ritual after a workout
- Shower gently. Choose lukewarm water and Body Wash, a rich lather that removes sweat and dirt without drying the skin. Rice protein helps the skin hold on to moisture, and broccoli oil leaves it soft.
- Smooth. On arms, legs and anywhere the skin feels bumpy, apply Smoothing Body Serum. This silky leave-on exfoliant combines AHA and BHA acids to lift dead skin cells and help improve the look of rough, bumpy skin, while shea butter, olive oil and squalane support the skin's barrier.
- Moisturise. Follow with Body Lotion. It absorbs instantly, and hyaluronic acid, squalane and shea butter keep the skin soft and supple.
- Hands. Weights, bars and frequent hand washing are hard on the hands. Hand Cream gives fast-absorbing moisture relief and cares for nails and cuticles, without a greasy feel.
Your hair after a workout
- Between washes. You don't need to wash your hair after every session. Dryclean removes excess oil and odours at the roots and adds fresh volume.
- When you wash. Shampoo Hydrating & Strengthening is a gentle everyday cleanser that rebalances moisture in hair and scalp. Follow with Conditioner Hydrating & Strengthening.
- Strengthen. BB Spray – Leave-In Primer on damp hair helps strengthen and moisturise, so hair stays soft through frequent washing.
- Before blow-drying. Heat Protect Spray shields hair from heat with a light, invisible finish.
And your face
Keep it simple: cleanse soon after your workout with Gel Cleanser, then mist Hydrating Face Mist for calm, refreshed skin. For outdoor sessions, protect your face with Sun Defence Face Cream SPF50 before you head out.
